In winter, colds and flu can disrupt your life.

Colds and flu spread easily and quickly through coughing, talking, sneezing and touching surfaces.

Reduce your risk of getting sick and passing infections on to others by:

  • washing your hands
  • wiping down frequently touched surfaces
  • covering coughs and sneezes
  • staying home to rest when you're unwell

Avoid contact with others if you are unwell. This includes:

  • work
  • education
  • childcare
  • shopping centres
  • sporting venues
  • social or religious gatherings

Stop the flu before it stops you.
