Regional transport services

Bus services

We have contracted various private transport providers to run bus services in regions outside of Adelaide Metro's metropolitan network.

The private bus providers drive regular regional town and school routes, and connect smaller towns with regional centres. They also offer connection routes between regional areas and metropolitan Adelaide.

Medical transport through Community Passenger Networks

Community Passenger Networks coordinate transport services for eligible people who cannot drive themselves or access public transport because of distance, mobility or availability.

These are non-emergency services that are usually provided by volunteers, to help people get to medical and specialist appointments. Some Community Passenger Networks also help people get to places like the local supermarket, bank, post office and pharmacy.

There are more than 15 networks around South Australia. Visit the South Australian Community Transport Association to find a Community Passenger Network provider or local council community transport service near you.
