Adelaide Metro customers are being warned to ignore a social media scam promoting a reward of free travel for a year by entering a fraudulent competition.

Customers have reported seeing the competition promoted on Facebook with the scam asking for customers to provide their personal information in an online form.

We are not offering a year of free travel on any of our products.

This campaign has been created and promoted by an unknown third party – we can assure customers that Adelaide Metro’s own accounts and databases have not been compromised.

Customers are advised to not click on the link and to report the post to Facebook.

If you have clicked on the link, and provided your contact details please remain alert for further attempted scam activity.

If you have provided your bank card details, please contact your financial institution immediately.
