Glenelg tram line closure in July

19 Jun 2026

The Glenelg tram line will be partially closed from first service Saturday 4 July to last service Sunday 19 July 2026.

The tram line will be closed from Moseley Square, Glenelg to South Terrace.

City tram services will still be operating during the closure.

This closure will allow for finishing works to enable the Mike Turtur Bikeway to open next month, and other works as part of the Tram Grade separation Project. These works cannot be safely completed while the tram line is operating.

The Glenelg tram line will resume full operation from first service Monday 20 July 2026.
