Travel to the World Cup live site at The Drive

Get behind the Socceroos during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ with matches broadcast live at The Drive.

This free event will see 3 group stage matches broadcast live directly from North America on the big screen, with the local community coming together to cheer on the Socceroos.

Those travelling to the live site can catch public transport, with multiple stops and stations located near The Drive on War Memorial Drive. Please note, Adelaide Metro services will not operate before the Australia vs USA match on Saturday 20 June 2026.

Match 1: Australia vs Türkiye

Date: Sunday 14 June 2026  
Gates open: 12:30 pm 
Kick-off: 1:30 pm

Match 2: Australia vs USA

Date: Saturday 20 June 2026  
Gates open: 4:00 am 
Kick-off: 4:30 am

Match 3: Australia vs Paraguay

Date: Friday 26 June 2026  
Gates open: 10:30 am 
Kick-off: 11:30 am

Live site schedule

Fans can catch public transport to The Drive for the World Cup live sites using Adelaide Metro bus, train or trams.

For the Australia vs USA match, Adelaide Metro services will only be available after the match, please check your timetable before travelling.

Bus:

There are multiple bus stops located near The Drive on War Memorial Drive, with multiple services operating.

The following stops are less than 500m from the live site:

Fans can also catch other bus services to stops around the city.

Train:

Fans can catch all train services to Adelaide Railway Station, which is a 600m walk to The Drive.

Fans can exit the railway station and walk across the Riverbank Bridge to The Drive.

All train services will depart from Adelaide Railway Station after each match.

Tram:

Fans can also catch a tram to the World Cup live sites with services operating to and from the Adelaide Railway tram stop.

This stop is located on North Terrace next to the railway station and is a 600m walk to The Drive. Fans can walk through the railway station and across the Riverbank Bridge to get to The Drive.

Tram services also operate to the Festival Plaza tram stop, but this stop is only in service on the weekends.
