Adelaide Climate Action Week 2026

14 Jul 2026

Adelaide Metro and the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) is proud to support Adelaide Climate Action Week in 2026.

South Australia’s first community-led climate festival will take place from Monday 27 July to Sunday 2 August 2026.

This event highlights what can be achieved when communities, businesses, researchers and government work together on climate action.

To show our support for the week, Adelaide Metro will operate 4 electric buses on the City Connector service, replacing all diesel, gas and hybrid buses that normally operate on this route.

Using our electric buses shows how cleaner public transport can help reduce emissions and support South Australia’s climate goals. Adelaide Metro is working towards a future where all our vehicles are zero emission by 2050.

The City Connector is a free city bus service that operates across two loops, an inner Adelaide city connector loop and an extended city loop around North Adelaide.

Routes 98A/98C and 99A/99C operate at a 15-minute frequency, travelling to different destinations and attractions around the CBD.

Stay informed about these routes by subscribing to SMS or email alerts for this service.

Adelaide Metro and DIT are pleased to support this event and help raise awareness of how we can build a cleaner and more climate-resilient future.
