The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) is resurfacing the Tea Tree Plaza Interchange bus roadway to deliver a smoother ride and support safe, reliable public transport services now and into the future.
The project is scheduled for completion in late 2026. Please check Adelaide Metro for latest updates to bus services.
Most works will take place at night to minimise disruption, and temporary bus service changes will apply during construction.

Will my bus service change while the interchange roadway is being upgraded?
Yes, there will be some changes to bus services. The works will be completed in one section of the interchange at a time, with affected zones temporarily closed and bus stops temporarily relocated as needed.
Where will my bus stop be if my usual interchange zone is closed?
If you catch a non O-Bahn service and your usual zone is closed, your bus will start and finish at either:
All O-Bahn services will continue to pick up and drop off inside the interchange.
How far from the interchange are the bus stops on Smart Road?
Stop 42A is about 350 metres west of the interchange.
Stop 43B is about 180 metres east of the interchange.
Is their accessible access between the interchange and bus stops 42A and 43B on Smart Road?
Yes. At least one accessible path to Smart Road will always be available, and pedestrian wayfinding signage will help guide you.
How will I know if my bus service is affected?
Look for signage at the interchange and Smart Road stops for updates and directions. For up-to-date passenger service information, register your details to receive service updates as information becomes available by visiting the service disruption page.
