In July, Adelaide Metro is hosting a free Try Before You Ride event at Playford Civic Centre.
This free, bus-only event is open to everyone to help build confidence, whether you’re new to public transport or need a refresher.
Practice using a stationary bus in a safe and supportive environment. Staff will guide you and answer any questions about:
To help you become familiar with all public transport options, you can experience virtual reality bus, train and tram journeys with our immersive headsets.
If you or someone you support is preparing to use public transport for the first time or is living with an apparent or non-apparent disability, these events offer a welcoming, inclusive space to learn.
Attendance for this event is free and open to everyone.
Try Before You Ride event details:
Registrations are highly recommended but not required. Registrations can be completed for individuals or groups (families, schools, support services, etc.). Drop-ins are also welcome.
