The Mount Barker on-demand bus service has gone fully electric, with 6 new buses replacing the current fleet.
The fleet will also have an extra bus servicing passengers, making it easier for Hills residents to get to where they need to go.
Last year, the on-demand service was officially integrated into the Hills metropolitan bus service as part of the Adelaide Metro network.
Servicing residents in Mount Barker, Nairne and Littlehampton since January 2020, this service has consistently received positive feedback from passengers and the local community.
Fares are the same as travelling on metropolitan bus, train and tram services. Passengers can use metroCARD, Tap and Pay and the Buy & Go app, including transfers between services.
Passengers can access this service through the Keoride app on the Apple Store or Google Play Store and book the on-demand bus to and from anywhere within the service area.
The app also allows passengers to track the arrival of their ride in real-time.
