City-Bay participants can travel for FREE on all Adelaide Metro services between first service to 2:00 pm on Sunday 20 September 2026.

Participants will need to present their race bib to the driver or customer service staff to access free travel.

CB1 - Half marathon bus shuttle from city:

Departs: Stop W1 North Tce - South side (opposite the Adelaide Railway Station) at 5:15 am

Drop off location: Stop 20 Adelphi Tce – East side (opposite Wigley Reserve, next to the Watermark Hotel) at 5:45 am

City-Bay road closures will affect tram services along Jetty Road and in the Adelaide CBD.

Tram services will operate at a high frequency between Stop 15 Brighton Rd and:

• the Entertainment Centre from 5:23 am until approximately 7:30 am
• South Terrace from approximately 7:30 am until approximately 11:00 am.

Tram services will operate between Adelaide Railway Station and the Entertainment Centre from approximately 7:30 am to 10:30 am.

Tram services will resume:

• to Botanic Gardens after 10:00 am
• to Festival Plaza after 11:00 am
• to the Entertainment Centre after 11:00 am
• from Moseley Square at 12:30 pm.

Sections of roads will be closed and re-opened at various times during the morning of the City-Bay event. Detours and other arrangements will be in place.

A temporary terminus will be located on the northern side of Anzac Hwy, adjacent the Watermark Hotel as well as both sides of High St, east of Moseley Square. This will be in place from first service to approximately 2:00 pm.
