Travel just got a lot cheaper for South Australian school students, with a Student 28-day pass now only $10.

As of 1 July 2025, the price of a metroCARD Student 28-day pass is $10, down from $28.60, making the cost of transport for school students as low as 25 cents a trip.

This change means South Australian families could save up to $242 a year, per child.

The Student 28-day pass also gives children unlimited travel at any time, 7-days a week. The 14-day student pass has now been discontinued.
