Adelaide Metro is exploring new ways to improve accessibility for our passengers.

You can now try two newly rebranded BindiMaps products, relaunched under names that better reflect the services they provide:

  • PathView allows you to pre-plan your journey through a mapped venue, providing advance awareness of accessibility features and environmental information.
  • TruStep is a wayfinding assistance tool that provides turn-by-turn accessible audio to assist individuals who are blind or have low vision.

Both tools are available as iOS and Android mobile apps, with PathView also available via web browser. They are currently being trialled at the following Adelaide Metro locations:

  • Adelaide Railway Station
  • Adelaide Railway Station tram stop
  • Paradise Interchange
  • Oaklands Railway Station.

Adelaide Metro has been trialling BindiMaps products since December 2025 to help passengers safely navigate our services. The current PathView and TruStep trial will run until 30 June 2027.

The existing BindiMaps app is being retired, and you will need to download the relevant replacement for your needs. Learn more about PathView and TruStep, or download on Android or iOS.

For any questions or assistance with using PathView or TruStep, please reach out to BindiMaps via the contact details on their website, or use the feedback tool in the app.
