Traffic will be heavier than usual approaching the precinct, so please allow for extra travel time. Roads around Adelaide Oval will be closed for patrons to enter and exit the stadium safely. Be patient when leaving car parks and follow the directions of police and traffic controllers.

If you're catching buses after the game, regular bus stops outside the stadium will be closed. Buses will be using different stops near the stadium, so follow the direction of staff and look out for signs.

If you're travelling home by taxi or ride share services, choose a pickup location away from the stadium to avoid delays. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at traffic.sa.gov.au.

Regular Adelaide Metro and Adelaide Oval Express services are FREE all day with a valid match day ticket.

Bus to Adelaide Oval:

Adelaide Oval Express (AO and AOX) services will operate before and after the British and Irish Lions Rugby match. Regular Adelaide Metro buses will operate as normal, which passengers can ride for free with their match day ticket.

Rugby fans can:

• Search for your nearest AO and AOX service.

Train to Adelaide Oval

Additional trains will operate before and after the match at Adelaide Oval. All train services will arrive and depart form the Adelaide Railway Station.

Tram to Adelaide Oval

Additional trams will operate before and after the match at Adelaide Oval.

The Festival line operates from Glenelg to Adelaide Oval. This service arrives and departs from the Festival Plaza tram stop on King William Road, a short walking distance to the stadium.

The Glenelg and Botanic lines arrive and depart from the Adelaide Railway Station tram stop on North Terrace. Fans can walk through the Adelaide Railway Station and across the Riverbank Bridge to Adelaide Oval

Please remember to check the digital display on the front of the tram before you board to avoid travelling in the wrong direction or getting on the wrong tram.

Bus stop closures:

Between 8:45 pm to 10:30 pm on Saturday, 12 July the following bus stops will be closed:

• Stop 1 King William Rd - East and West side.
• Stop 1 Sir Edwin Smith Ave - North side only
• Stop A2 and A3 King William Rd
• Stop Z1 and Z2 King William Rd
  • Passengers go to Y2 King William St

Road closures:

Road around Adelaide will be closed before, during and after the Rugby match. They include:

• War Memorial Drive: 3:45 pm to 10:30 pm
• King William Road: 8:45 pm to 10:30 pm
• North Terrace: 9:05 pm to 10:30 pm

Taxi ranks:

Temporary taxi ranks will be installed at the following locations:

• King William Rd - West side, south of Pennington Tce (Taxi rank only).
• Pennington Tce - South side, east of main car park entry (Taxi and coach zone).
• Montefiore Rd - East side, north of War Memorial Drive.
• War Memorial Dr - East of Montefiore Rd (For patrons with wheelchairs and mobility aids).
  • The Casino taxi rank will be closed from 9:05pm to 10:30 pm, with a temporary rank instated outside the Adelaide Convention Centre.

Passenger loading:

Passenger loading zones will be located in the following areas:

• Pennington Tce north side, east of Montefiore Rd (between Montefiore Rd and Palmer Pl, west side).
• Montefiore Rd east side, 75 metres south of War Memorial Dr.
