Adelaide Metro is trialling BindiMaps

05 Dec 2025

We’re making it easier for everyone to get around on public transport, especially people who have a vision impairment.

BindiMaps is an accessible navigation app designed to help people find their way in complex indoor spaces.

Users will receive clear, step-by-step directions in simple language, making it easier to know where they are, what’s nearby, and how to get where they need to go.

BindiMaps can be used via the mobile app, or a web browser, and at the onsite kiosk inside the InfoCentre at Adelaide Railway Station. The trial is running at select locations, including:

  • Adelaide Railway Station
  • Adelaide Railway Station tram stop
  • Paradise Interchange

This pilot is part of our ongoing promise to make public transport more accessible, safer, and easier for everyone, no matter their ability.

Download BindiMaps on all Android and iOS devices here.

For any questions about using BindiMaps, please go direct to their help centre or use the feedback tool in the top-right corner of the app.
