Tram Disruptions - Glenelg and Botanic Lines Adelaide CBD - Sun 20 Sept 26 for City Bay

Between 5.00am to approx. 10:30am on Sunday, 20 September 2026, the City-Bay road closures will affect tram services on King William Street and North Terrace in the Adelaide CBD. 

During this time tram services will operate as follows:

  • From 5:23 am to approximately 7:30 am, tram services will operate between Stop 15, Brighton Road to the Entertainment Centre tram stop.
  • From approximately 7:30 am to 10:30 am, tram services will terminate at South Terrace and operate between Stop 15, Brighton Road to South Terrace tram stop. Passengers can transfer to a substitute bus at the temporary stop on Peacock Road, which will drop off at a temporary stop on Kintore Avenue, adjacent the State Library and near North Terrace. 
    • No tram services will operate to Festival Plaza until after 11:00 am.
    • No tram services will operate to Botanic Gardens, Art Galley and University tram stops until after 10:00 am.
  • Tram services will operate between Adelaide Railway Station to Entertainment Centre from approximately 7:30 am to 10:00 am.

The following tram stops will be closed, and the following alternative stops or tram substitute bus services will be in available:
