From 11:47 pm until last service Saturday, 19 September 2026, the full Outer Harbor and Port Dock rail lines will be closed between Adelaide Railway Station to Port Dock and Outer Harbor Railway Stations to allow for software upgrade works that cannot be safely undertaken while trains are operating.
During this time, the last two inbound and outbound Outer Harbor line services and the last inbound and outbound Port Dock line services operating Saturday 19 September through until 1:45 am Sunday, 20 September, will not operate. Substitute buses will replace train services between Adelaide Railway Station to Port Dock and Outer Harbor Railway Stations.
