The Gawler line will be closed across the October long weekend between Adelaide Railway Station and Gawler Central Railway Station.
From: First service Saturday 3 October 2026
Until: Last service Monday 5 October 2026
Reopening: First service Tuesday 6 October 2026

During the long weekend closure, substitute buses will replace all train services between Adelaide Railway Station and Gawler Central Railway Station.
Substitute buses will operate as closely as possible to the train timetable for the duration of the closure, but we encourage passengers to plan ahead.

Substitute bus stops will be positioned as close as possible to the railway stations. These stations are shown on the Gawler timetable.
The Adelaide Railway Station substitute bus stop will be located at Stop D North Tce - North side.
