Substitute buses
Substitute buses will operate between Adelaide Railway Station, Brighton Railway Station and Flinders Railway Station in both directions.
Adelaide Metro will always attempt to provide a frequency of service; however, traffic conditions, roadworks and accidents can cause delays in service.
Substitute bus services will operate as closely as possible to the train timetable for the duration of the closure, but we encourage passengers to plan ahead.
Seaford line substitute bus services:
The N4 all stopping service and N3 limited stopping service will operate as the substitute bus route for the Seaford closure. These bus services will operate between Adelaide Railway Station and Seaford Railway Station.
Flinders line substitute bus services:
The N7 all stopping service will operate as the substitute bus route for the Flinders closure. This service will operate between Woodlands Park Railway Station and Flinders Railway Station. Passengers travelling to and from Adelaide Railway Station will need to catch the N4 substitute bus service, then connect with the N7 at Woodlands Park Railway Station.
Substitute bus stops will be positioned as close as possible to the railway stations. These stations and stops are outlined in the Seaford and Flinders timetable.
The Adelaide Railway Station substitute bus stop will be located at Stop D North Tce - North side
