We’ve now added 14-Day and 28-Day Passes to the range of available tickets on the Adelaide Metro Buy & Go app.
Previously only available on metroCARD, 14-Day and 28-Day Passes give you unlimited travel for 14 or 28 days in a row – great for people who use public transport frequently. The more you travel while your pass is active, the cheaper your fare is for each trip.
The $10 Student 28-Day Pass is great value for primary and high school students who travel to and from school from Monday to Friday at peak times. Fares fall from $1.60 a trip to 25 cents a trip (a saving of up to $54 a month).
The $10 Student 28-Day Pass is available on the Buy & Go app together with Regular and Concession 14-day and 28-Day Passes. See how much you could save with our online savings estimator.
Passes are better on the app
Getting your passes on the Buy & Go app means you can:
- buy your pass whenever it suits you, without needing to source and buy a metroCARD
- activate your pass when you’re ready to use it
- keep your pass on your phone, without having to carry a metroCARD.
Buying, activating and using your pass
You can buy and activate your 14-Day and 28-Day Passes the same way as any other Buy & Go ticket. An active pass includes your journey countdown and a QR code that you scan each time you board your vehicle.
Buy & Go tickets are non-refundable and expire after 12 months if unused, and passes can’t be paused once activated, so choose carefully and double-check before you buy and activate.
Travelling with the Buy & Go app
You can use Buy & Go tickets and passes on all buses, trains and trams.
If you prefer to continue using 14-Day and 28-Day Passes on a metroCARD, that’s no problem. You can get them online, at our InfoCentre in the Adelaide Railway Station, at a metroCARD retailer or vending machine, or by calling our InfoLine on 1300 311 108 (7:00 am to 8:00 pm every day).
