The 2023/2024 A-League season returns to Coopers Stadium, home to the Adelaide United Football Club. Coopers Stadium will host all Adelaide United matches of the Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s season, as well as some Liberty A-League Women’s fixtures.
Football fans can catch public transport to Coopers Stadium to watch The Reds, as every Adelaide Metro service is FREE with your valid match day ticket.
Bus, train and trams are FREE up to 3 hours* before matches on weekdays, and FREE all day on weekends and public holidays to get you to the match. Additional tram services will also operate at each home match.
*The free travel period will commence 3 hours prior to the match, including when a Liberty A-League Women’s match is played before an Isuzu Ute A-League Men’s match.

Traffic will be heavier than usual approaching the precinct, so allow extra travel time. Roads around Coopers Stadium will be closed to allow crowds to enter and exit the stadium safely, so be patient when leaving car parks and follow the directions of police and traffic controllers. If you're travelling home by taxi or ride share services, choose a pickup location away from the stadium to avoid delays. You can find real-time updates on traffic conditions at traffic.sa.gov.au.
Keep in mind if you're catching buses after the game, regular bus stops outside the stadium will be closed. Buses will be using different stops near the stadium, so follow the direction of staff and look out for signs.

Bus services to and from Coopers Stadium will operate on match days. Football fans can search ‘Coopers Stadium Hindmarsh’ to:
Manton Street will be closed after each game at Coopers Stadium. Therefore, bus services 115, 117, and 118 will detour and stop on Port Road. These services will stop at Stop 6, 7 or 8 Port Road – both sides depending on direction of travel.
Regular and additional trams will operate to and from Coopers Stadium on match days.
The closest stop is the Entertainment Centre Tram Stop, which is approximately a 9-minute walk to Coopers Stadium. Both the Glenelg and Botanic tram lines service this stop and travel through the city.
Train services to and from Coopers Stadium will operate on match days. Bowden Railway Station is the closest train station to the stadium, which is approximately a 13-minute walk.
Road closures will differ each match day, so ensure you view the service disruption before travelling.
Manton Street Closure and detours:
At the end of each match at Coopers Stadium, Manton Street will be closed in both directions. Therefore, bus stops on Manton Street will be closed and services will detour to Port Road.
Manton Street will be closed from 3:15 pm to 5:45 pm and bus routes will detour during this time.
