Adelaide Metro school bus services operate in addition to regular services. Only students, teachers, and parents or carers accompanying school students are permitted to travel on board designated Adelaide Metro school bus services.
Primary and secondary students between 5 and 14 years of age use a student metroCARD or MetroTicket on school services, just like on any other Adelaide Metro service.
Students need to remember their own and other students' safety and personal space when travelling independently. Visit the passenger behaviour and safety page for more details.
Use our interactive map to find where to buy or recharge your metroCARD, get information, park your car, or where your nearest bike cage or bike locker is.
The Department for Transport and Infrastructure provide a number of regional bus services across South Australia, to provide students with access to and from high school.
Dedicated school services operate in a number of the state's regions and towns, and are run by various private bus operators.
