The Adelaide Fringe 2020

When: From Friday 14 February 2020 to Sunday 15 March 2020

The Adelaide Fringe will be held from Friday 14 February 2020 to Sunday 15 March 2020.

Leave the car at home and catch a bus, train or tram to the many Fringe events happening around Adelaide.

 

Below you will find information on:

 

Bus services 

Additional bus services will operate for specific routes on select Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, these include the the 540, 544, J1G, J2, and G10C services.

Fridays: 28 Feb, 6 March & 13 March
Saturdays: 15 Feb, 29 Feb, 7 March & 14 March
Sunday: 8 March

Below are timetables for the additional bus services:

Please note these timetables do not display information for Friday 21 & Saturday 22 March (during SuperLoop Adelaide 500), as alternate timetables are in place for this event on the Superloop Adelaide 500 page.

 

Tram services 

Trams will operate to standard timetables, with the addition of the ADLOOP Tram service, which will operate on select Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.

 

Taxi ranks 

A temporary taxi rank will be set up on East Terrace (eastern side) between Rundle Road & Botanic Road.

 

Fringe School Program and Gluttony Schools’ Day Out 

Catch free Adelaide Metro transport for Primary school groups!

Primary school groups and accompanying adults can travel free to Adelaide Fringe events on Adelaide Metro trams, trains and buses between 9.30am and 3pm Monday to Friday.

Friday 21 Feb (from 6.30pm), Saturday 22 Feb (from 5pm) and Sunday 23 Feb (from 5pm)

  • East Terrace, between Botanic Lane and Pirie Street
    • The O-Bahn bus tunnel will remain accessible for buses.
  • Rundle Road (western side)

98A-99A (anticlockwise) service: From Hutt St, will travel Wakefield St, Pulteney St, North Tce to Stop T1 then continue normal route.

98C-99C (clockwise) service: From North Tce, will travel Frome St, Wakefield St, Hutt St to Stop H1 then continue normal route.

271-273 (from city): From Grenfell St, will travel Frome St to Stop 1, then continue normal route.

110 (to city) services: From Grenfell St, will travel Pulteney St, Pirie St, Frome St back to Grenfell St to Stop S1

141-142-144 (to city) service: Normal route to Britannia roundabout then continue along Fullarton Road, Rundle Street (Kent Town), into Rundle Road, East Terrace then via normal route

141-142-144 (from city) service: From East Terrace, Rundle Road into Rundle Street (Kent Town), Fullarton Road to Britannia roundabout then continue normal route.
