Currie Street InfoCentre to close 13 September

The Currie Street InfoCentre will permanently close at 5pm, 13 September 2019

The Adelaide Metro InfoCentre on Currie Street will permanently close from 5pm Friday 13 September 2019.

Timetable options

metroCARD options

Due to plans to redevelop the site, the lease on the Currie Street InfoCentre site cannot be extended.

Customers can continue to carry out metroCARD and timetable transactions at the Adelaide Railway Station InfoCentre (500m away on North Terrace), open from 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week and open until 12.15am on special event days.

Alternatively, there are a number of options available to carry out your timetable and metroCARD needs.

Timetables

Customers can access timetables online via their mobile device, or by calling the Adelaide Metro InfoLine to request a printed timetable to be mailed to them.

Online timetables

Find online timetable information via your mobile device by:

  • visiting the Real-Time page to see your nearest stops and the next available services to those stops
  • saving your favourite stop, route and timetable to My Metro

*Select your favourite stop and pin it to your mobile device home screen for easy access to next service departure times*

  • Find your way with our Journey Planner
  • Select your mode - Bus, Train or Tram - choose your timetable from the list and select an option:
    • Real-Time stop specific times
    • Personalised online timetable
    • Downloadable timetable and map

By phone

Call the Adelaide Metro InfoLine on 1300 311 108 from 7am to 8pm, 7 days a week to get timetable and travel advice over the phone.

Request a printed timetable

Printed timetables can be mailed out upon request, and at the discretion of Adelaide Metro in line with our print reduction strategies.

You can also register your details for future timetable updates to be mailed out.

Call the InfoLine on 1300 311 108 to discuss this option with a Customer Service Officer.

metroCARDs

Customers can continue to access metroCARD services via:

  • a metroCARD agent
  • our many on-site vending machines
  • your online metroCARD account 
  • the Adelaide Metro InfoLine

metroCARD Agents

There are more than 30 metroCARD Agents in Adelaide city and more than 200 metroCARD Agents across metropolitan Adelaide where you can buy and recharge your metroCARD.

A metroCARD Agent could be your local newsagent, grocery store or post office.

Fare vending machines

There are over 150 fare vending machines across metropolitan Adelaide, including on board every train and tram.

Please be aware that you can't buy metroCARDs or MetroTickets from every machine, and different payment types apply to different machines. 

Online

Register or log in to your metroCARD account to add value to you and your family's cards from $5 up to $100, or set up Auto recharge so you'll never run out of money on your metroCARD.

You can also check your metroCARD balance and travel history (excluding 14 and 28-Day Passes).

A registered metroCARD is a protected metroCARD. If your registered card is lost, it can be cancelled by an Adelaide Metro Customer Service Officer and the balance transferred to a new metroCARD (card fee applies).

Set up Auto recharge

Your registered metroCARD can be set up to Auto recharge.

A recharge will automatically be added to your metroCARD any time the balance drops below the selected amount.

The payment for the Auto recharge is then charged to your nominated credit card.

It is a convenient way to ensure your metroCARD always has available balance.

  • register your metroCARD
  • recharge your metroCARD, including set up Auto recharge
  • check your metroCARD balance and travel history
  • make general metroCARD enquiries
