Fringe Festival 2019
During the Fringe Festival, 15 February to 17 March 2019, there will be some road closures and bus detours in place. Additional public transport services will be running.
Tram services
During the Fringe, Adelaide Festival and other Mad March events, special tram services will run via the loop shown on the map on Friday and Saturday nights from 15 February to 16 March, and on Sunday night 10 March for the Adelaide Cup long weekend.

Additional bus and O-Bahn services
Extra services are available at weekends throughout the Fringe Festival and other Mad March events. Additional services will also run on Sunday of the Adelaide Cup long weekend (10 March).
Road closures
Rundle Road Adelaide will be closed for fringe activities on Friday night 22 February and Saturday night 23 February. See bus detours below.
25km/hr speed restrictions
From 8.30pm to 12 midnight from Saturday 16 February 2019 to Sunday 17 March 2019.
- War Memorial Drive between Sir Edwin Smith Avenue and Frome Road
- Victoria Drive between Kintore Avenue and Frome Road
Bus detours
From 7.00pm until last bus Friday 22 February 2019
- 141, 142 and 144 bus services from the city will detour from Stop I1 Grenfell Street and turn left into East Terrace, right into Botanic Road, right into Dequetteville Terrace and left into Rundle Street (Kent Town).
- 141, 142 and 144 bus services to the city will turn right from Rundle Street (Kent Town) into Dequetteville Terrace, left into Botanic Road, left into East Terrace, right into Grenfell Street to Stop R1 and then continue normal routes.
From 5.00pm until last bus Saturday 23 February 2019
- 141, 142 and 144 bus services from the city will detour from Stop I1 Grenfell Street and turn left into East Terrace, right into Botanic Road, right into Dequetteville Terrace and left into Rundle Street (Kent Town).
- 141, 142 and 144 bus services to the city will turn right from Rundle Street (Kent Town) into Dequetteville Terrace, left into Botanic Road, left into East Terrace, right into Grenfell Street to Stop R1 and then continue normal routes.
Temporary taxi rank, East Terrace
Thursday 14 February to Sunday 17 March 2019
- During the Fringe Festival's Garden of Unearthly Delights, a temporary taxi rank will be installed on East Terrace between Rundle Road and Botanic Road.
