New timetable design

Adelaide Metro is introducing easier to read timetables, with aorund one third of all timetables already avaialable in the new format. The new style of timetables is easier to read so that you can find the information you need quickly, and know that no matter which timetable you need, that information is always in the same place.

Information about the new design:

  • Timetables are colour coded into different modes of travel, for easy recognition
  • Timetables have black text on white background for optimal print, web and mobile app readability
  • Timetables read down the page
  • Colour coded direction and map labels across all timetables
  • Guidelines to assist with the natural flow of the eye for reading times
  • All maps on timetables are shown in their entirety on one page
  • Timetables have indicators to show the start and end point of each route
  • Timed stops are shown on the map relating to the timetable
  • Section points are shown on the map
  • Points of interest are noted on maps using easy to understand symbols
