After Midnight Service Information

Bus Services

After Midnight bus services operate Saturday night/Sunday morning only. Buses use the same route numbers as regular daytime services with an N before the number. All buses travel along their regular bus routes and operate in both directions, making it safe and easy for you to get around after midnight.

NOW IT’S EVEN EASIER TO GET HOME AFTER MIDNIGHT FROM THE WEST END

Planning your trip home after a late night out on a Saturday night in Adelaide’s West End is now a whole lot easier with the introduction of four Premium City Central After Midnight bus stops in the CBD.

These stops have upgraded lighting, monitored CCTV and a regular police presence making it even easier to get home after a great night out.

The stops are located at King William Street stop X2 and C2 for north and south services and Currie Street stop E1 and W1 for east and west services.

All South services N21, N721, N262 depart King William Street stop C2
All North services N178, N202, N224 and N254 depart King William Street stop X2
All East services N1, N22, N502, N541 and N864 depart Currie Street stop E1
All West services N30 depart Currie Street stop W1

Services will continue to run as per their regular timetables.

Ticket Prices

After Midnight services are Metroticket services so you can use your Multitrip or buy a ticket on board.

Safe Travel

After Midnight services will pick you up at regular bus stops along the route. Make sure you clearly hail the bus so that the driver is aware you wish to board. After Midnight bus services will also stop at any brightly lit suburban location along the route where it is safe to do so, such as a 24-hour service station or fast food outlet. So, if you need to, why not call ahead for a taxi, family member or friend to pick you up from a location where you feel safe.
