FREE Terrace to Terrace Tram7 days a week
The South Australian Museum Adelaide Metro’s FREE City Services use both buses and trams.
Both offer low floor easy to access trams and buses and are fully air conditioned, taking you direct to many of Adelaide’s great attractions.

North Terrace Adelaide’s cultural heart, with the
SA Museum, Art Gallery of SA, State Library,
Adelaide University, Botanic Gardens and more

Rundle Mall with over 800 stores to choose from,
Rundle Mall is Adelaide’s vibrant retail heart
- Central Market the fresh produce heart of Adelaide,
offering an amazing selection of fresh produce
- Rundle Street East with a great selection of
restaurants and bars only a few steps from a
99C bus stop
- Gouger Street Adelaide’s greatest selection of
restaurants catering for all budgets and tastes and
just a short walk from either free tram or bus stops
Terrace Tram service
South Terrace to North Terrace
To travel on the FREE Terrace to Terrace tram, board either the Glenelg or South Terrace tram services departing:
- Monday to Friday:
8 am - 6 pm: every 7.5 minutes on average
- Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays:
- 9 am - 6 pm: every 15 minutes approximately
Other times to Midnight:
Every 20 minutes approximately
For travel between South Terrace and Glenelg you’ll need a Metroticket.
Jetty Road
Travel along Jetty Road, Glenelg is free of charge. For full Terrace to Terrace times, see the separate Glenelg tram timetable.
City - 99C
The Adelaide FREE 99C City Loop services take you on a loop around the City taking in the SA Museum, State Library, Art Gallery, Royal Adelaide Hospital, Botanic Gardens, Rundle Street (East End), Tandanya Aboriginal Culture Gallery, the Central Markets, the Hindley Street precinct, UniSA and Adelaide Universities.

Terrace to Terrace trams provide easy
access for the elderly, people with
disabilities and people using prams and shopping trolleys.
The platforms and ramps make the FREE Terrace to Terrace trams easily accessible for people with disabilities and families with prams.
Adelaide FREE buses are gas powered which greatly reduces pollution.
Terrace to Terrace trams are electric, making them quieter and better for the environment.
