You can reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 2.84 tonnes a year by using public transport.

If you drive 25 kilometres to work every day, this trip will produce up to 2.84 tonnes of greenhouse gases annually, as well as urban air pollutants. You can play a part in helping the environment by using public transport and leaving the car at home! The more people using public transport means there are fewer cars on the road. Each kilometre you save by not driving your car to work means less fuel burnt, reducing urban air pollution and greenhouse gas emissions.
