Subscribe for Rail Maintenance Night Works Notifications

When: From Friday 26 May 2017

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) often has to undertake essential maintenance works on metropolitan train and tram lines through the night to avoid impacting day services.

Until now, nearby residents have been provided with advance notice in writing. However it can be difficult to notify residents of short notice changes to the date, details and location of works.

DPTI has introduced an electronic notification system to enable residents surrounding Adelaide’s rail corridors to receive night works notifications via email or SMS. This new system will allow residents to be notified of upcoming night works in a more timely manner.

To subscribe to receive electronic rail maintenance notifications, visit www.dpti.sa.gov.au/worksnotifications and enter your contact and address details.

You’ll then receive electronic notifications of works that occur near the address you nominate. Written notifications will be phased out from 1 July 2017.

No mobile phone or e-mail?

Residents who do not have access to email or SMS messaging can request family members, neighbours or friends to register to receive notifications on their behalf.

If you have any queries about the electronic notification system, email DPTI.RailMaintenance@sa.gov.au or call 1300 794 880.
