Southern Expressway Duplication Project bus detours
When: From Saturday 5 May 2012
Due to construction of the $407.5m Southern Expressway Duplication project Honeypot Road will be closed for an extended period as a result of bridge extension works. Beach Road will remain open but will have changed traffic conditions.
Delays are expected and we ask that customers allow additional travel time during the closures.
Flaxmill Road Reopened
Flaxmill Road reopened on Tuesday 25 March 2014. All bus routes resumed normal services from first service Wednesday 26 March 2014.
Honeypot Road Closure
Honeypot Road will be closed at the Southern Expressway bridge from Saturday 26 October 2013 for approximately six months.
During this time 743 and 744 bus services will detour.
743 & 744 Bus Detour
All 743 and 744 bus services will operate as 744 bus services.
Buses will travel via the normal 744 route until Brodie Road, then via Honeypot Road, Amsterdam Road, Corinth Road, Honeypot Road, then via normal 743 roure back to Noarlunga Centre Interchange.

Beach Road bridge works – changed traffic conditions
702A, 702C, 721, T721, T721X, 721A, 721F, 721L, 721, N721, 743 and 744 should expect service delays from Monday 7th of May for approximately 14 months. Beach Road will remain open to traffic with restrictions: one lane open in each direction and reduced speed restrictions.
